“Just a note to let you know how much
I enjoyed your presentation at our ROBS Meeting on Friday. I really liked
the project when the Board did it in December, but it was amazingly fascinating
to be an observer and see it in process with the four groups.
“Our personalities truly are a ‘thumbprint’
and so many were in evidence that day. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our
society’s thumbprint could incorporate the idea of sharing so that war
and terrorism could truly end. When I think of the terrible state our world
is in, I’m always reminded of Fulghum’s book titled, “Everything I Need
to Know, I Learned in Kindergarten.” Truly, sharing one’s crayons and not
grabbing whatever snack one thinks looks great would go far in our political
world…..I love the last line (of the poem )!!
“Thanks again, John, it was a terrific
morning.” Marge Kirchner
“I’ll tell you, I was very frustrated
watching our colleagues play. I could see who the hoarders were and
who the givers were and that bothered me. It seemed that all the same people
were doing most of the giving, just the way it is all over the world. That
really bothers me but I’m not sure what we can do about it – I see it in
my own family. Somehow I had expected the teachers to be different.
Perhaps I held them to a higher standard.” Shirley
Walker Lloyd
"…..’twas quite interesting………liked
your comments………" Lil Kelly
